Policies

Thank you for thinking of The Dog House & Kennel & Grooming, Inc. for your pets boarding pleasure. Our Kennel is managed by a Certified Kennel Operator.  This assures that your pet(s) will be given the best attention possible for his/her health and happiness. We have formulated the policies & procedures listed below to prepare you and your pet(s) for his/her visit and to keep our high standards of care.

These policies are put in effect to provide your special family member(s) with a happy, healthy and comfortable place to stay while you are away.  We encourage you to visit us prior to your pets stay and we will be happy to discuss any concerns you have about yourpet(s) and his/her special needs.

Reservations

Reservations are not required but are highly recommended especially for holidays and summer vacation. During this time we will require a $50 deposit per pet to guarantee your reservation. We require that all reservations be cancelled at least 4 business days in advance; otherwise the $50 deposit is subject to forfeiture.

Vaccinations

For the practice of preventive health care and for the protection of all our guests and employees, we require proof that the following vaccinations are current:

Dogs: Rabies and DHLPP (yearly), Bordatella (Kennel Cough) every 6 months, Heartworm test and stool parasite check.

Cats: Rabies, FVRC-P, Feline Leukemia (yearly) and stool parasite check.
